Styling the Squad – Five Fun Gifts For Your Bridesmaids

Styling the Squad – Five Fun Gifts For Your Bridesmaids

Olivia Bleeker

Weddings are just in the air during this time of the year, aren’t they? A few hours ago, I arrived home from my weekend adventure to my cousin’s wedding. After her wedding, I realized that I have quite a few more weddings to attend coming up this spring and summer, too. With all of these weddings coming up, there’s a good chance that you’re engaged or simply making plans for your future wedding.

With that being said, of course there are thousands of details to perfectly iron out before your big day, so today I wanted to share with you some ideas so that you could check one more task off of your list: gifts for your bridesmaids. The following items are in a wide variety of price ranges and styles so that you’ll find something for anyone and everyone!

For the #GirlGang

For those of you who have a solid crew of girls that all come in to any event as the life of the party, this is the perfect item for you and your bridesmaids. This Kate Spade bracelet says #squad and is the perfect accessory for all of your closest girls.  If you want something more local check out Poppy Made By Hand or Plume for some real unique gems.untitled-16-01

For a Personal Touch

If you want to gift your bridesmaids with something that has a bit more of a personalized touch, there are plenty of monogrammed items out there that put that special touch on the items that you pick out for your besties. A local place we highly recommend for personalized monogram gifts is The Southern Rose. Whether you specialize the item in a bridesmaid’s specific initials or favorite color, there are plenty of ways to purchase something that will make each and every one of your bridesmaids realize how much of a vital role they play in your life! While there are multitudes of personalized items you can purchase for your bridesmaids, an especially fun idea is to personalize a hanger for each bridesmaid to hang her dress on.

WEDDING PLANNING

For a Photo Opp

If you’re looking for a gift to give your bridesmaids that they can put to good use on your wedding day, one of my favorite bridesmaid gift ideas is a silk robe. Not only is this an item that you could monogram for a more individual touch, this is also something that makes the perfect “getting ready” photographs with all of your bridesmaids. Some brides wear a different robe than their bridesmaids, but others wear the same, so you can’t really go wrong. With this specific robe on sale for under $30, it’s also friendly on that wedding budget, too.

PLANNING 2018 WEDDING

For the Floral Obsessed

Perfect for storing her dress, these floral print garment bags are such a great idea for your bridesmaids! Not only will they be able to carry their dresses easily to and from your location, but your bridesmaids will continue to use these stylish garment bags years after the wedding – and always think of you with every use! Truly a gift that keeps on giving!

For the Bridesmaids Who Have It All

If you are just at the end of your rope, completely out of ideas regarding what to get your bridesmaids, try this idea. Instead of purchasing a material item for them, invest in an experience together. Treat your bridesmaids to a day at the spa, buy them a month long membership to a yoga studio, cheer on your favorite baseball team together at a home game, etc. Don’t worry if you can’t think of the perfect gifts for your friends; there are so many experiences you could have with your bridesmaids that will bring them memories for a lifetime! Finally, if your bridesmaids are spread out throughout the country and can’t make it to a girls day out, consider covering some of their dress costs or travel expenses in place of a gift!

Whatever you end up choosing as your gift for your bridesmaids,  don’t forget to take a step back and realize how amazing it is to have a group of such incredible friends in your life! Hopefully this has made it a bit easier to check one more thing off of that neverending “to do” list and can give you more time to focus on some other things!

Happy wedding planning!
Olivia
